Hello, Lovelies!

As you can tell by the new decor, www.annierosewelch.com has a new & improved look! I decided it was time to do some spring cleaning and give the website a fresh start. I thought that maybe sprucin’ the place up might inspire me to blog more often. Those of you that know me well are probably laughing your pants off right now. I am a terrible, terrible blogger, as my past history can attest to. The good news about that: if I’m not blogging, I’m working on new stories. And I have been! Steadily. I find that my schedule doesn’t allow for huge chunks of writing time anymore, so slow and steady has become my New. I’m actually accomplishing more than I thought I would. But I digress. What kind of hostess would I be if I didn’t give you the Grand Tour of the new place?

Let’s start with all of the new pages.

The Calendar! This is a place where you can keep tabs on me and all of my new work. So far I only have one engagement scheduled for this year. If you’d be interested in meeting up, or if you just want to know where I’ll be and when, give the new page a click! I’ll give you a hint. Hank & Delilah spent some time there. 😉 And as soon as a story is given its wings to fly, and graduates from the Upcoming Projects Page, the Calendar will be updated with all of the information you’ll need, such as the official release date.

This is my personal favorite page of the entire website– the Upcoming Projects Page. This is where you can keep up- to- date on all of the new things I have planned. Most of the time I keep all of my new stories to myself, occasionally sharing tidbits about them on my Facebook page. Not anymore! I love that the Upcoming Projects Page (UP Page) gives me a chance to share with you all of the things I’ve been hoarding in my mind. I have some ideas for the UP Page that I’m hoping to expand on in the next few weeks. For instance, I’d love to set up a page for each Upcoming Story, so I can share pictures, ideas, snippets, and other inspirations that have to do with that particular tale. You’ll also find title, date, synopsis, and the current status for each project. Those are already up, so have fun exploring.

I can’t forget about all of my existing pages. They are all still here, but have been redone. You can find out all you want to know about Marigny Street, Red Dirt Road, Lotus Blossom Lane, The Crossroads, Sparrow Way, Saving Angels Boxed Set, Elementals, and Pistol Fanny’s Hank & Delilah on their updated pages. I had too much fun going through each page, organizing and adding things that were not there before, like music playlists and book trailers.

Even the Books Page has been updated. All of the books are in chronological order and all of their respective information is in one place. I adore it!

Now, back to all of my new projects. If you haven’t made your way to the UP Page yet, I’ll save you some time. First up on the list of Up Coming Projects– Delilah’s sisters. Hazel, Melody, Gillian, and Jo (perhaps not in that particular order). Hazel’s story has been written and Melody’s is just about finished up. These stories have taken me on a whirlwind ride. If you’ve read Pistol Fanny’s Hank & Delilah, you know that Delilah is a hard nut to crack. Well, her sisters have skin just as thick as hers. It’s taking time and patience to truly get to the core of their stories, even though their struggles are apparent from page one. These ladies have a lot of layers, and they move at their own pace. I’m just along for the ride. I honestly thought that Hazel and Melody’s stories were going to go one way, but both have turned in an entirely new direction. I can’t wait to share them with you. Even though Delilah was often mysterious and aloof, I fell in love with her and Hank. These ladies & their stories are no exception.

Okay, so now that I have everything wrapped up, with a pretty bow to tie everything together, I’ll let ya’ll get back to enjoying the new site! Please check back often. Even though everything is pretty much wrapped up, I’ll be adding wee bits here and there along the way. (I’m seriously considering adding a Blind Book Dating Giveaway pretty soon. I love the idea of it. If you’re all for it, please let me know. Feedback would be amazing. If you’re not sure what Blind Book Dating is, shoot me an email and I’ll be glad to explain it to you.)

Melody is calling. I better get back to writing!

XoXo,

Annie
